Tourism Highlights is a publication from the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), released annually on the occasion of World Tourism Day - on 27 September - celebrated, in 2008, in Peru under the theme 'Tourism Responding to the Challenge of Climate Change'. Tourism Highlights aims to provide a consolidated set of data and trends for international tourism in the year prior to its date of publication.
